Series 4: Sling Bags

Series 3 is hibernating until mid-spring 2024 so next up to the web shop is Series 4 Sling Bags!

These unique bags are made from coordinated swatches from surplus upholstery books saved from a local interiors shop, Designer Drapes, in Penge. They’re lined with cotton shirting fabric surplus from made-to-measure tailoring and have a high-quality YKK zip, gunmetal hardware and tough cotton webbing strap. The Series is limited to 63 sling bags.

They can comfortably fit essentials such as my large purse, iPhone, lip balm, keys and a snack bar at the least and the adjustable strap means the bag can be worn across the body or over the shoulder. I’ve really enjoyed coordinating the fabrics and creating such colourful, useful things with this one.
